HD Deployable systems are typically incorporated into mobile vans or trucks and support remote HD cameras that are routed into a mobile studio for on-site mix and programming. HD cameras typically unitize Hermaphroditic fiber optic connectors extend length using two or more single mode fiber optic segments to extend the camera distances. Power for these remote cameras is either derived from local power via remote hybrid connector assemblies such as F-LINK. Expanded beam or Lens connectors such as the F-LENS are proving to be a viable alternative to butt joint connectors given the ability to quickly clean and maintain the lens portion of the connectors. |
